B and H Promotion Proudly Presents A Thanksgiving Night of O.P.P. Friday November 29, 1991 at Barlcays Athletic Club. Reggae, Dancehall event flyer.
Bronx: On-Line Graphics, Printer, 1991. Unbound. Good. Item #022918
Single sheet, 8 ½ by 11 inches, glossy paper stock. Printed in red/orange and dark teal inks. A flyer for a show/dance/concert at the noted venue, Barclays Athletic Club in the Bronx. Founded by Owen Barclay, the club featured many dancehall and reggae acts and dances, becoming a cultural focal point for the West Indian and Jamaican community in the area. Artists featured on this night included Lecturer, Daddy Blue, Big Head Balsie, Gee, M.C. Barber, Joceyln, Lady Sasha, Foxy Brown and others. Idle speculation leads us to wonder if O.P.P. referenced the popular hip hop song released in 1991 by Naughty by Nature, at least in meaning. GOOD condition. Minor to moderate wrinkling and creasing, especially at the lower corners. Minor soiling. Two tiny tears along the top edge.
Price: $150.00
