The Cleveland (Cleveland-Akron-Kent) Tribunal. Vol. II No. IV. May 1968
Cleveland: Cleveland Tribunal, Publisher, 1968. Tabloid. Good. Item #022912
Side folding tabloid newspaper. 12 pp. Illustrations and photos throughout. An early underground newspaper from Cleveland, Ohio, preceded slightly by the Buddhist Third Class Junkmail Oracle. Combining retro steampunk style fonts and layout, the paper embraced both radical politics and counterculture, while claiming it was providing a neutral forum for the presentation of ideas. On a whole, the paper does seem reminiscent of the Buddhist Third Class Junkmail Oracle. This issue with a full page illustration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on the rear cover. Includes a look at the revolution and the future, a Be In in Akron, psychedelic art by Winni Mann, etc. GOOD condition. Minor to moderate uneven toning. Light wrinkling.
Price: $75.00
