Minority Report. September 9-23, 1969. Volume One, Number Eleven

Dayton, OH: Minority Report Collective, presumed publisher. 1969. Tabloid. Good. Item #022812

Side folding tabloid newspaper format. 16 pp. Black and white illustrations throughout. A single issue of this somewhat obscure underground newspaper, apparently one that was published by African Americans for the Black community in and around Dayton Ohio. If library records are correct, it was only published during 1969. This issue with a range of subjects, including a centerfold poster of Bob Dylan, with the quote, "He Not Busy Being Born is Busy Dying." Several pages are devoted to the Woodstock concert/festival, with news on the incarceration of Black Panther Party leader Bobby Seale; a protest at the PGA tournament to highlight racism and poverty; local police repression of the Black community, etc. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Moderate to heavy toning, with some offsetting along the edges. Minor soiling.

Price: $125.00
