With a short introductory essay. Romare Bearden was an American artist who worked in a variety of mediums, but was perhaps best known for his collage work. He was one of the founders of the Harlem based art group, Spiral, a group who discussed what role the African American artist had in the Civil Rights movement. GOOD+ condition. Minor wrinkling, fading, soiling and edgewear. A few darker scuffs present.
