A flyer asking for the release Fred Hampton Jr., incarcerated after being found guilty of firebombing a store during protests arising from the Rodney King verdict. The flyer also asks for Mumia Abu Jamal to not be executed. The flyer askes people to join the The National People's Democratic Uhuru Movement and to defend the African Liberation Movement for self-determination. The National People's Democratic Uhuru Movement was founded in 1991 as an arm of the African People's Socialist Party, helping to organize for the organization. Fred Hampton Jr is an American activist, currently serving as leader of the Black Panther Party Cubs (made up of descendants of the original Black Panther Party members), and the Prisoners of Conscience Committee. Sponsored by The National People's Democratic Uhuru Movement, an organization founded in 1991 as an arm of the African People's Socialist Party, helping to organize for that organization. Mumia Abu-Jamal is a Black journalist, activist and author, currently incarcerated for life after being found guilty of killing a police officer in 1981. There have been allegations of corrupt witnesses who gave false testimony, calling into question the legitimacy of the charges. VERY GOOD condition. Minor curling and wrinkling along the extremities.
