Side folding tabloid newspaper format. 20 pp. Tenth issue of this visually appealing underground paper that combined edgy comics, layout and graphics to report on, and satirize news of the day, while reporting on left wing and counterculture topics, while often embracing a psychedelic editorial tone. It was also one of the first underground newspapers to use color printing for its covers. This issue with musings on music, the police, politics, etc. With several articles and short essays on various student led protests against the Vietnam War around the country. Also present is a full page devoted to the genius of Jimi Hendrix. GOOD condition. Some toning and soiling to the covers. Some creasing along the edges. Small area of staining to the lower front cover edge.
