Of note in this issue is part three of "The Refugees," an historical novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle; an account of slavery and the slave trade in Africa, written by explorer and journalist, Henry M. Stanley, and illustrated by Frederic Remington. GOOD condition. Minor soiling, toning and fading to the covers. Moderate chipping, tearing and creasing along the fore edge, with minor loss of wrapper to the head of the spine. Slight curl along the spine.
