A collection of eight paper dolls representing notable women of American letters, including Emily Dickinson, Emily Post, Nellie Bly, Louisa May Alcott, Margaret Mitchell, Emma Lazarus, Edna Ferber and Fannie Merritt Farmer. Tom Tierney was an Amerian illustrator, illustrating fashion designs for various companies. His first paper doll book was published in 1976, and the New York Times credited him with reviving the art of paper dolls in the US. VERY GOOD condition. Minor fading, rubbing and edgewear.
