A poster promoting the theater production of Your Arms Too Short to Box With God, a collaboration between director VInnette Carroll, Micki Grant and Alex Bradford. Like her other stagings, this work took the form of a gospel revue, focusing on the Biblical book of Matthew. This debuted on Broadway in 1976. Carroll is noted for being the first African American woman to direct a show on Broadway (in 1972). VERY GOOD condition. Minor fading. Light scuffing and bumping along the edges.
