No Place: No publisher. Wraps. Good. Item #022256

No publisher, place or date. Perhaps published by Manfred Mohr, circa 2005. Single sheet folding out to eight panels. 9 ½ by 8 inches when folded. CD Rom present in pocket on the last panel. An extension of a catalog for the 1999 exhibition space.color. According to Mohr, "space.color.motion uses the same computer program as space.color (written in 1999) and was updated to run on all computer platforms, including PC's. In the workphase space.color inkjet paintings are realized from instances (or stills) of the 6-D animation. In the workphase space.color.motion, self-built PC's execute the 6-D animation program with each installation using a unique set of parameters which determines the sub-structure and color set. Each time the program is restarted it picks a new set of 6-d random angles and increments (based on the present time and date). This results in "unique" images which don't repeat and are always surprising." The CD is patrt of P777: selected animations (2005) it contains 4 short gif animations examples from workphases space.color.motion. German born artist Manfred Mohr is known for being a pioneer in the field of digital art, beginning with a computer and algorithms in 1969. His work is held in museums worldwide. GOOD+ condition. Faint offsetting and minor soiling to the exterior. Slight loss to the word space in the title.
