Defeat the Union-Smashers! Fight for Security!

No Place: No publisher. Wraps. Good. Item #022124

No publisher, place or date. Perhaps Communist Party USA, New York: circa 1947-1949. Single sheet, folded into four pages. 8 by 5 ½ inches. An essay attributed to William Z. Foster that discusses the efforts of politicians in Congress to break unions to help big businesses. Foster asserts that the AFL and the CIO should merge, in order to increase their overall strength (something that would happen in 1955). Based on the mention of the 80th congress, we surmise this was written/printed between 1947 and 1949. The reverse mentions a mass meeting and demonstration for labor unity, featuring speakers, singers, dancers, band and entertainment! William Z. Foster was an American labor organizer and served as General Secretary of the Communist Party USA from 1945 to 1957. GOOD condition. Moderate toning. Some wrinkling and creasing.
