Revolutionary Student Brigade (Formerly the Attica Brigade) NYU Newsletter

New York: Revolutionary Student Brigade, 1974. Wraps. Very Good. Item #021996

circa 1974. Legal sized paper, single staples at the top left corner. 7 leaves. A newsletter focusing on corporate ties between NYU and its trustees, exposing ways in which the university profits off of students, which in turn enrich its leaders. The newsletter also looks at the rise of US Imperialism and other subjects. Written by the Revolutionary Student Brigade at NYU, a recent name change from the Attica Brigade. The Attica Brigade was a left-wing organization that grew out of the demise of the SDS, with its name inspired by the prison uprising in Attica in 1971. The organization focused on anti-imperialism. In 1974 it changed its name to the Revolutionary Student Brigade. VERY GOOD condition. Minor fading and edgewear. One page printed in duplicate, with another printed upside down. Duplicate page with a large x in pen across it.
