Item #021928 A Concert of Revolutionary Songs With Prairie Fire. Concert Flyer.

A Concert of Revolutionary Songs With Prairie Fire. Concert Flyer.

No Place: Prairie Fire, presumed Publisher. Unbound. Very Good. Item #021928

No place or date, circa 1975. Single sheet, legal sized 14 by 8 ½ inches. Printed on a single side only. A flyer promoting the politically active music group, Prairie Fire, and their concert at Macmillan Auditorium at 116 St. and Broadway. It was held on Saturday, April 5th, no year, but presumed 1975. Prairie Fire was a folk/rock band formed by Mat Callahan in the early 1970s. It was formed in part to provide a voice to the ideas and goals of the Revolutionary Union (Revolutionary Communist Party). Prairie Fire originally played covers of working songs, but wrote original material by 1975. They embarked on a 58 date tour in 1975, from which we believe this flyer came. VERY GOOD condition. Very light toning and minor curling and creasing at the corners.
