Philadelphia: E.C. and J. Biddle, Publisher, 1852. Pamphlet. Good. Item #021916

Pamphlet, lacking any wrappers issued. 128 pp. A printing of speeches, bylaws, members and other official business related to the association. Among the speeches is one by Professor Agnew on education and women. Sexism abounds, essentially asserting woman is around to help men in their ambitions, and that education is the sphere of men. Discussion ensues, with other men insisting it is important for women to get an education because they make great teachers. GOOD condition. Remains of binding along the spine. Minor toning and soiling. Light edgewear.
