Scenes Along the Rio Grande Souvenir Folder. Royal Gorge Railroad Postcard Folder.

Colorado: Royal Gorge Railroad, presumed Publisher. Pamphlet. Very Good. Item #021910

no date, presumed early 1900s. 11 panels printed on both sides, bound accordion style in an illustrated brown envelope. Roughly 4 by 6 inches. A collection of color images taken from along the Royal Gorge Railroad in Colorado, as well as a scene from the main line of the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad. The Royal Gorge railroad was originally started in the late 1870s, although feuding and a small range war type skirmish between two railroads, delayed its operation. It served passengers and mining interests, and is still in operation today as a tourist attraction. VERY GOOD condition. Minor fading and wrinkling to the envelope, with a note in pencil on the reverse.

Price: $30.00
