no date, presumed 1988, based on the leap year and the 29th of February falling on a Monday. Single sheet, 8 ½ by 11 inches. Printed on a single side only. A flyer for a show featuring the punk polka new wave band, Das Furlines, playing at the noted venue, CBGB. Das Furlines was an all woman punk polka band that celebrated German culture, although with a fair bit of irony. They performed covers of the 1960s group, the Monks, as well as a few of their own songs. Primarily active from 1985 to 1990, they never released an album of their own, but did release a cookbook. They were profiled by People magazine in 1987 and were shown on a short lived MTV program hosted by Andy Warhol. GOOD+ condition. Minor toning, mostly along the edges, with minor tiny creases at the corners.
