no date, presumed late 1800s. Single sheet, 4 7/8 by 3 inches. Chromolithograph illustration on the front with promotional copy on the reverse. A trade card for the patent medicine, Ayer's Hair Vigor, purported to restore gray hair, cure dandruff and stop hair loss. This was actually the only medicine by Ayer's to receive a patent, being patented in 1868. GOOD condition. Some superficial loss of paper to several small spots of the illustrations. Minor toning. Slight bend/crease along the left edge. Reverse toned.
