No publisher, place or date. Presumed San Francisco: 1975. 2 ¼ inches in diameter. Safety pin style back. A pinback issued to promote Acme Beer. While the Acme Brewing Company had been a long running beer company in San Francisco from the early 1900s to 1954, by this time the company had closed, and, in 1975, was being issued as a contract beer using the original branding styles. That said, the Acme Man was a promotion aimed toward the gay male community, with this pinback presumably serving as a double entendre. VERY GOOD condition. Minor rubbing and fading to the face. Minor soiling and tarnishing to the reverse.
