Art Against AIDS/Bureau NY, Publisher. Unbound. Good. Item #021524
Presumed New York, circa 1990. Piece measures 6 ½ by 4 ½ inches. 33 out of a presumed 34 postcards present, seemingly missing the one by Robert Mapplethorpe. A unique presentation of art by artists donated to the Art Against AIDS group, who then created billboards and other large ads for public spaces. The interiors of the fold out box contain and introduction to the traveling exhibition, as well as a statement on art, especially modern art and politics. Box in GOOD condition. MISSING the Mapplethorpe postcard (if issued). Box with scuffing, fraying and wear along its edges. Postcards in fine condition.
