Large black paper envelope containing a black paper folder and smaller book, in wraps. 59 pp. INCOMPLETE: MISSING 5 of 7 plates that should have been in the folders. A monograph on the art of Ad Reinhardt, perhaps best known for his political cartoons that embraced a left leaning political ideology. The book is a short monograph on the art and life of Reinhardt, looking at how politics shaped his work. The ONLY two plates present are "A page of Jokes," and "Joke". GOOD condition. Envelope rather chipped, torn and tattered along the edges, with some creasing and loss. Title taped to the envelope. Minor fading and wear to the book and interior folder. MISSING five of seven plates.
