No producer or place. Presumed California, 1973. 1 5/8 inches in diameter. Safety pin style back with a swivel lock keeping the pin fastened. Nicely produced pinback with bronze colored rim and backing, The face is primarily blue, and under clear plastic. It appears to depict a lion or something similar holding the state of California, with CMC within the state. The text reads "10th Anniversary Run July 4th, 1973. Rainier Creek." Based on provenance, we believe this pinback to have been issued by a gay motorcycle club in California, the California Motor Club. Research did not find this image or pinback, but this was acquired with pinbacks from other gay motorcycle clubs or taverns. VERY GOOD condition. Bronze perhaps slightly dull.
