[LGBTQ+] Ten Percent Revue, Two Publicity Photos
No Place: No publisher. Unbound. Very Good. Item #021445
No place or date, although perhaps Provincetown, based on a please return sticker address on the reverse. One photo captures "Behind the Scenes" of the Ten Percent Revue, depicting Director Joey Brandon, Composer and Songwriter Tom Wilson Weinberg, and Producer Laura Green. The other photo shows some of the cast, Jenifer Firestone, Paul Hardt, Helena Snow and James Humphrey as they were in their closing song, "Walk on Washington." The reverse indicates that the show was playing nightly at the Gifford House Cabaret. The Ten Percent Revue was written and developed by Tom Wilson Weinberg, and debuted in 1985. According to the John J. Wilcox Jr. LGBT archives, the show was "made up of about twenty musical numbers performed by a cast of two men and two women and celebrates the life and loves of gay men and lesbians. The show went on to play in numerous productions around the country, including an Off-Broadway run, a national tour, and recording, 1986-1989." Both photos in about VERY GOOD condition. One a bit toned. Both with handwritten descriptions of the photos taped to the reverse, as well as some notes in felt tip marker.
