No place or date (Havana, Cuba, 1974, based on Yale University's copy in their collection). Single sheet, thin paper stock. Measures approximately 20 ¾ by 13 inches. A poster issued by the organization OSPAAAL, announcing the organization's solidarity with the people of Puerto Rico. This was a common theme with OSPAAAL, give the similar plight faced by Cuba. Organization of Solidarity of the Peoples of Asia, Africa and Latin America was a political movement and organization founded in Cuba in 1966. Its goal was to fight imperialism and help liberation movements worldwide. It created posters as part of its propaganda campaign, including them as fold outs in the organization's journal, Tricontinental. Colors and art made the posters popular, and they were distributed internationally. VERY GOOD condition. Light fading and toning. Some wear along the extremities.
