no date, perhaps circa 1896 based on a patent date on the reverse. 1 ¼ inches in diameter. LACKING the actual pin. Front of the pinback button depicts a baseball player playing center field, in blue and white. Reverse has manufacturer's information. Does not appear to depict a specific player. GOOD condition. Heavy toning to the face, mostly around the edges. Some soiling and scuffing. Paper label on the reverse soiled.
