An account of Apolo Kagwa's trip to England from Uganda, detailing the travel itself, as well as his impressions of England and English customs. Kagwa was Katikkiro in Uganda, equivalent to a prime minister, and traveled to England in 1902 in that official capacity. GOOD condition. Heavy fading to the spine, with some fading along the extremities. Minor soiling and spotting to the cover. Frontis tissue guard detached and laid in. Owner's name on the title page. Minor toning in the interior.
