Red cloth with a color pastedown illustration on the front cover. 158 pp. Illustrations throughout, with 36 black and white plates and four color plates. A collection of short verses chronicling the encounters Little Miss Muffett has during her trip around the world. Includes mentions of Tibet, Japan, China, Chile, Australia, Germany and many other places. Illustrated by artist H. Boylston Dummer, a one time member of the Provincetown Art Colony, and often associated with the Rockport Realists. GOOD condition. Some scratching to the pastedown on the front cover. Uneven toning and discoloration to the covers, with minor soiling and staining. Some fraying and scuffing to the cloth along the edges. Several owner's inscriptions on the inside front cover/front endpaper. Minor toning to the text block.
