Full calf leather. 202 pp. A collection of Christian hymns gathered by Portsmouth, New Hampshire minister and one time member of the Continental Navy of the United States, serving during the Revolutionary War. GOOD condition. Heavy scuffing and uneven toning to the covers and extremities. A front blank endpaper appears to be missing. Two ownership signatures on the preface page. Scattered toning, spotting and foxing in the interior, with the text block shaken but intact.
