The commission focused on investigating Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida, looking at the failure of local officials to prevent or punish racial violence, concluding that Mississippi was by far the worst in this matter. The report does provide some recommendations for action. GOOD+ condition. Moderate uneven toning to the covers, with minor soiling. Small pink scuff to the title page.
