Gilt titling on the spine, with minor gilt decoration on the front cover. 210 pp. A Nahuatl language edition of the Codex Chimalpopoca, a postconquest Aztec codex in three parts: the first part historical, along with the Legend of the Suns; the second part was a short Spanish work discusses Aztec deities and rites; the third discusses sun legends. The codex is also known for its stories of Quetzalcoatl. The original codex manuscript was lost in the mid 20th century. Includes a glossary in English explaining various terms in the book. VERY GOOD condition. Light fading and edgewear. Previous owner's name and notation on the title page.
