Perhaps the Philippines, circa 1946. Charcoal wraps. Unpaginated, but perhaps over 100 pages long. Black and white photos and illustrations throughout. A yearbook style work presenting all members of the 1542nd Engineering Survey Co., including photos, names, places of residence and a humorous quote. A few entries without photos. Also included is a short history of the company, including its deployments, accompanied by photos of New Guinea and the Philippines. GOOD+ condition. General toning to the wrappers, with minor soiling. Extremities and hinges rather scuffed. Light toning in the interior.
