no date, presumed mid 1900s. Color illustrated card stock wraps in rice paper jacket. 16 loose illustrated plates, accompanied by a loose bifolium with descriptive commentary. All plates present as called for. An illustrated overview of French primitive painting, spanning a variety of centuries. GOOD condition. Heavy chipping, tearing and loss to the jacket, mostly along the top edge, along with heavy offsetting. General toning and minor soiling to the jacket. Book toned, with minor edgewear.
