Spine a sewn brown cloth, presumably a later addition. 8 pp. Color illustrations throughout. Unsure if complete. A retelling of this popular rhyme for children, in which Old Dame Trot leaves to drink ale, etc., with the last page depicting the cat and dog smoking together. Nothing like drinking and smoking to entertain children! FAIR condition. Presumably MISSING covers. First leaf with a two inch tear at the center fore edge, with a smaller tear to the center for edge of the last leaf. Moderate scattered soiling, staining and foxing, with wrinkling and creasing. Corners curled/creased.
