Measures approximately 2 5/8 by 1 3/8 inches at its tallest and widest. Clasping pin style back. Golden color metal. A pinback presumably issued for a Shriner outing held in Atlantic City in 1904, featuring a sphinx, sword and crescent moon attached to a medallion with a pyramid at its center. The Shriners originated within the Freemasons and are often associated with charities. VERY GOOD condition. Minor tarnishing to the metal on the front, a bit heavier to the sword.
