35 Loose Plates From Rime of the Ancient Mariner and other sources. No publisher, place or date. Each plate measures approximately 14 by 10 ½ inches. All presumably disbound from books, and unevenly cropped along all margins. A collection of 35 illustrated plates by Gustave Dore, most from his illustrations of the Rime of the Ancient Mariner, although a few are from other undetermined works. GOOD condition. Margins a bit unevenly cropped. Varying amounts of foxing to the plates, some with none, some with more moderate foxing. All a bit toned. Minor soiling. Each plate unfortunately numbered in ink at the upper left corners and reverse, spanning 2-36. Most with a bit of wear along the edges.
