United Spanish War Veterans National Auxiliary Ribbon and Medal. Whitehead and Hoag, Producer. No place or date, presumed early 1900s. Measures about 3 inches long and about 1 ¼ inches wide. Yellow, white and red striped ribbon with a copper colored medal suspended below, bearing the United Spanish War Veterans insignia. A ribbon and medal issued by the USWV, an organization formed by the merger of the Spanish War Veterans, the Spanish-American War Veterans and the Servicemen of the Spanish War. GOOD condition. Minor soiling and fading to the ribbon, with the face of the medal tarnished.
