Beat was a Los Angeles fanzine founded and published by Stephen Zepeda, who also founded Beat Records and worked as a music promoter in Long Beach, California. The zine covered punk, new wave and rock acts, both local and national. Second issue, featuring coverage of Gary Valentine, the Buzzcocks, the Last, the Quick, a look at the music scene in England in 1978, etc. GOOD+ condition. Minor soiling and toning to the covers. Minor edgewear.
