A general work discussing a variety of items including: the human anatomy and physiology; ailments, illnesses and remedies, including the use of spices; method of making wine as well as making cider rum brandy and other drinks; discussion on how various items are manufactured; agriculture; government; statistics. GOOD condition. Moderate to heavy scuffing to the leather especially along the extremities and spine, with a few small, deeper gouges. Minor soiling and staining to the covers. Text block toned, with scattered foxing and minor staining throughout. Several pages with tears including one mended with string.
