Raised Fist, Black Power Pinback. No publisher, place or date. Presumed late 1960s, perhaps printed in the Boston area. 1 ¼ inches in diameter. Safety pin style back. This pinback maybe circa 1968 based on provenance. According to the previous owner, this pinback may have been acquired at an event where Stokely Carmichael (Kwame Ture) was speaking. The former owner was an editor and author for a Boston underground newspaper, and if their recollections are accurate, they were at this event to interview Kwame Ture. VERY GOOD condition. small dark stuff on the curl. Reverse of the pinback rather rusted.
