A bound volume of a journal devoted to the Mazdaznan movement, a religious or spiritual movement founded in the 19th century by Otoman Zar-Adusht Ha'nish, drawing on Neo-Zoroastrian principles. It focused on the importance of breath and breathing, with its adherents expected to practice vegetarianism. GOOD+ condition. Minor fading and scuffing. Minor edgewear. Front wrapper of the January issue detached and laid in, with staining to the lower portion. A few stray pencil notations to the contents pages of some issues.
