Light pink illustrated wraps. Side sewn. 8 pp. Edited by "several literary and fashionable characters," this general interest magazine embraced a slight hint of humor in its publishing of popular culture topics, poetry and literature. This issue with a short biography of an English woman, Elizabeth Sawyer, accused of being a witch (witchcraft) being executed in 1621. Accompanied by a portrait. Also present is a weekly gossip column, a printing of sheet music of Annot Lyle'sSong, etc. GOOD condition. Some wrinkling and creasing to the wrappers. Minor soiling and staining. Light chipping and tearing along the extremities. Lower fore edge and corner apparently nibbled on at some point, with minor loss.
