It was started by Pam Wheeler-Tanner, who was the daughter of escape artist Prince Wheeler, and her husband, Joe Tanner. The newsletter focused on escape artists and escape tricks/magic. This issue with an article on Houdini; words of wisdom from Roy Green; a discussion of a trick using the Australian torture belt and 80 feet of rope, etc. GOOD condition. Uneven toning and offsetting to the covers. Very large mailing cancellation stamps across the rear cover, with handwritten mailing address (that of Patterson Smith). Faint large cancellation stripes along the spine of the front cover. Staple holes along the fore edge.
