New York: Peabody and Co, 1834. Wraps. Good. Item #018428

Light pink illustrated wraps. Side sewn. 10 pp., including fashion plate at the front. Edited by "several literary and fashionable characters," this general interest magazine embraced a slight hint of humor in its publishing of popular culture topics, poetry and literature. This issue with a plate depicting women's fashions, along with a short article on English and French fashions, a report on opera in Philadelphia, a printing of sheet music of the Slumber Gentle Lady, etc. GOOD condition. Some wrinkling and creasing to the wrappers. Minor soiling and staining. Front cover decorations rather faded, presumably due to the printing process. Light chipping and tearing along the extremities.

Price: $30.00
