It was started by Pam Wheeler-Tanner, who was the daughter of escape artist Prince Wheeler, and her husband, Joe Tanner. The newsletter focused on escape artists and escape tricks/magic. This issue with an article on Houdini and Carleete; words of wisdom from Roy Green; a discussion of a spirit cuff escape trick; lessons learned by Terry Roses, etc. GOOD condition. Uneven toning and offsetting to the covers. Very large mailing cancellation stamps across the rear cover, with handwritten mailing address (that of Patterson Smith). Staple holes along the fore edge.
