Side stapled wraps. 8 ½ by 11 inches. 32 leaves, printed on single sides only. Later issue of this haphazardly published little magazine, being a "quintessential Beat publication," from the North Beach scene of San Francisco, it was conceived of as a way to capture "the beauty and promote the beatific life among the various mendicants, […], poets, painters, musicians," (quote from Bob Kaufman as cited by Lawrence Ferlinghetti). This issue guest edited by Luke Breit and featuring work by Lawrence Ferlinghetti, among others. GOOD condition. Rear cover detached from the top staple. Some toning and soiling to the covers. Minor wrinkling. Small chip missing from the lower front cover. Clay and Phillips, p. 80-81.
