Side folding tabloid newspaper format. 20 pp. Black and white photos and illustrations throughout. Front cover photo of Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones, taken by Robert Altman. Single issue of this underground newspaper from San Francisco, originally named the San Francisco Express Times. The paper covered the usual left wing and radical political and social causes, although embraced a more relaxed tone under the Good Times moniker. This issue with a printing of a note written by Black Panther Party leader Bobby Seale while imprisoned in Chicago (smuggled out by Jerry Rubin); two page interview of the Rolling Stones, with photos; etc. GOOD condition. Faint horizontal fold crease present. Moderate browning. Mailing address present. Minor wrinkling and soiling.
