This with a cover image and profile of Vel Phillips, Secretary of State of Wisconsin, and noted lawyer and Civil Rights activist; a look at Rust College; a short piece on Roy Wilkins, etc. GOOD condition. From the collection of Zelma George, who served as an advisor to President Eisenhower's administration, an alternate delegate to the UN General Assembly, and served on the executive council of the American Society of African Culture, among various other roles. Her signature is on the front cover, with a larger signature and date on the title page. Mailing label on the rear cover. Minor soiling, fading, scuffing and edgewear to the covers. Minor curling at the corners.
