An underground newspaper issued by members of the US Navy, focusing on the rights of those in the military, anti-Vietnam War issues, politics, etc. The paper was published from 1970-1972, before merging with other New England area GI Press papers. Many articles from the Liberation News Service. This issue with a full page devoted to the riots at Travis Air Force Base in California. This includes discussing the extreme repression tactics used by military police and other police; the racial tensions that allegedly led up to the riots; the inequality in pay and treatment between Black and white members of the military, etc. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Moderate uneven toning. Minor wrinkling, creasing and edgewear.
