Arranged alphabetically, this work provides a primary reference on English furniture, from its construction and evolution through the Middle Ages to the Late Georgian period. These feature photo examples of the many different styles in English furniture, as well as tracing the history of forms, etc. GOOD condition. Minor scuffing and soiling to the covers, with light scattered mottling to the cloth of volume one. Some scuffing and fraying to the cloth along the extremities, with peeling, fraying and minor loss at the spine tips. Light toning and very light scattered foxing in each book.
