Indians At Work was a publication that was started to show the work of the Civilian Conservation Corps Indian Division. It was published from 1933 to 1945. This issue with a variety of short articles, including "Choctaw Sports;" "Vocabulary and Style in an Indian Language;" "Early History of the Creeks," etc. Many articles bear a tone that views Native Americans and their culture as a sort of novelty. GOOD condition. Minor to moderate dampstaining along the edges. Minor soiling and toning. Small rust marks near the staples.
