Better known for her poetry and hosting one of America's first art colonies (on the Isles of Shoals off the coast of New Hampshire), Thaxter also created art that embellished her volumes of writing and poetry. VERY GOOD condition. Minor fading to the jacket. Minor scuffing and curling along the jacket edges. Book faded along the edges.
